We've Found Our Kardamenian Paradise

Where to start on yet another Greek oddity .......

...... this year in Kardemena, on the beautiful island of Kos.

Well, it would be rude not to head straight to the beach, especially after all the inclement weather we've been having back home.

Let's just say, it's absolutely, flipping glorious, wonderful and marvellous!

As we've come slightly out of season this year, there doesn't seem to be much competition for our preferred front row, inches away from the sea, sun loungers .......

....... so I doubt there'll be any beach towels at dawn type shenanigans, but just in case .... we have come prepared!  

What are we like?

However, unlike previous years, we've found that there is no charge for said loungers if you avail yourselves of the hospitality of the cafe/restaurant to which they belong  ......

 ..... and I think we may have struck comestible Greek gold with Krista and her wonderful family ......

...... in as much as we won't be found in any way wanting gastronomically at the end of each day  .......

....... as we've already found that her smoothies are to die for!  Oh, happy days.
