With Iris and Bertie back at school Nigel is once more treading the school run again ……..
……. and it hasn’t taken him long to come across his very first find of 2024, to wit, a very lovely wall unit going free. Needless to say several pictures and text messages were exchanged between Darrell and himself …….
…… but tempting as it was, it had to be a no, despite Darrell going from room to room pondering all the possibilities and options. Sadly, it just wouldn’t fit anywhere without a serious upheaval, which to be honest, we hadn’t even thought about before this morning ……
…… not even to make bunk beds with wardrobe and storage facilities for the little fella, as he’d implored. Hopefully, next time Nigel happens to stumble upon something, it’ll be something much smaller, but just as useful, that he can actually bring home ……. bless his little cotton socks!

Nigel is ever the optimist, when it comes to finding things and hoping to take them home. He is very environmentally friendly, too, when it comes to reusing, recycling and reducing. Charity shops are environmentally friendly, as well as helpful to both the charities and those making the purchases.
Better luck next time, Nigel.
I live reading about your findings, better luck next time for Nigel.

oh young Nige - you look so comfortable on that little shelf. Good job you moved quickly though - someone might have picked you up for free and taken you home!!! Heavens to Betsy that would never do!!! JantheFan x
