Spring Is Trying To Sprung .......

Oh my goodness me, I was sitting at the computer, sorting out one or two things of a financial type nature ..........

....... when I just happened to glance out of the window and behold, there on the bank was all the wonder of the natural rhythm of the seasons opening up before me.  I'll admit my heart swelled a little (but obviously not of an emergency fashion) at such a lovely sight because, I'll be honest, I find winter quite a depressing season to get through, with all the dips and dives in temperature, the dark mornings and evenings, not to mention all the grey skies ..........

....... but knowing that spring was now trying its best to blossom forth has worked immeasurable miracles to lighten my mood and soul.

However, it is still far too soon for thoughts of casting any sort of clout ........

....... so, until the clocks go firmly forwards at the end of March, all vests and winter duvets are staying exactly where they are, on our backs and on our beds, no matter how Nigel might pleads to go unfettered!

Of all the seasons, I prefer spring, too.

In Mexico, we only have two real seasons - rainy and dry. October to April is dry and sunny, and you can still get sunburn. During the rainy season, from May to September, if will be dry in the mornings, but it can hammer it down in the afternoon and evening.

I am fine going out on my bike in the mornings, when it is cooler.

Living in the tropics, we don't get the extremes of daylight, either. There isn't much change between winter and summer.

Interesting Mr D!

I'm with you Monkey - winter is hard to get through at times but like you say Spring is just peeping round the corner, her light is just that little be different and I'm welcoming her with open arms and a few snowdrops in the garden and daffs in bud - the blue tits are visiting the nest box, the male and female blackbird couple are in the garden, the wren is hanging around more.... oh joy of joys I SO VERY much love Spring (can you tell???? ) the season of Hope.
