Nigel and Alice decided to spend most of their last day in Wales in Llandudno .......
..... though it was undeniably a little grey, it didn't dampen their spirits for the delights of a traditional seaside town ......
..... to wit, a brisk arm in arm promenade along the front to the sound of seagulls squawking ........
........ fish, chips and do-nuts on the pier (but not altogether) .......
...... and the obligatory, cheeky pot, brimming with 2p's for the Penny Falls machines, of which Alice, as we have already found out, is quite a demon.
....... to find, until then, a very elusive Welsh holey stone (tick)

Another wonderful day! And a holey stone, to boot.
Oh I have lovely memories of Llandudno - we stayed in a hotel right on the front in a room with a wonderful sea-view. The sun shone all the days we were there. Happy memories indeedy. If you get back there you must go on the tram to the top of the Great Orme - that's a real treat. JantheFan x
