Who You Gonna Call?

 We've had a visit ......

...... from Ghost Wasp Busters  ......

......  I think you can imagine just how excited the little fella was!

However, in this instance, it wasn't an infestation of wasps they were investigating .....

..... but the possibility of a rat run! So, while Darrell and preferred to stay inside and watch from the safety of the lounge .....

..... Eric was outside "helping" and asking pertinent questions!  To be honest, I don't think any of us can be at all surprised that we might have visitors of the whiskery kind, seeing as how close we are to the river and open fields, however three traps duly were set.

Goodness only knows what Eric and Mr Wasp Buster had been talking about, but when said, learned gentleman had gone, Eric came back in to earnestly ask that if anything was captured and him/her/they could be domesticated, could he possibly keep the best one for himself but set him/her/they free if at any time him/her/they showed any signs of pining for the outdoor, rural idyll again?

I think you can guess the answer, it contains two letters, both capitalize, followed by an exclamation mark!

NB ....... as it was, after several weeks, nothing was caught and the traps taken away ........ much to Darrell, Alice's and my great relief!!!

As the Bard would say; "all's well that ends well."

"I think you can guess the answer, it contains two letters, both capitalize, followed by an exclamation mark! "

"SI!"?

Shurely shome mishtake.

Oh no-poor Eric. I’m guessing he’d like a pet? A colleague’s young son was pestering her for a pet so she bought him a cactus to look after. Perhaps a similar approach with Eric might work?
