The Habiba Cafe (what used to be Moo Moos) has been open for quite a while now ...…
… but trying to sort out a date to partake in all it’s pleasures has taken a little while to organise, however yesterday was finally the day ……..
… with Nigel and Darrell treating Little Miss Iris an Young Master Bertie to their tea after school.
….. with Iris opting for breakfast, her most favouritist meal of choice ……
…… with the rest of us being enthusiastically cajoled to try the Dish of the Day, to wit, stuffed cabbage leaves with potatoes, on a bed of tomato sauce……..
……. it did NOT disappoint.
So when Iris then suggested she might still have a little room left for pudding, in the guise of a very large Oreo waffle …….
…… it would have been rude to refuse her.
However, we were only able to help her out a bit, as we were already stuffed full to bursting!
Where she puts it all, we just don't know. In the olden days a worm might have been suggested, but in this day and age that's just a bit yuk!
The friendly atmosphere at Habiba is more like going for a meal at a friend’s house, it felt like home and we will be definitely be back, as there are an awful lot of Polish Dish of the Days we need to work our way through ……. so, 10 extremely robust Habiba noms out of 10 ………. happy and rather full days!

Wonderful!
"Polish Dish of the Day?" Is it a Polish restaurant? From when Mrs. D and I lived in Abu Dhabi, Habiba is an Arabic word, a woman's name.
hey your pictures are all still up on pinterest! just search for them! i found countless!
Looks very much like a place you can visit again....and again...and again! JantheFan x
Oh, no! What is going on? Monday's blog hasn't appeared yet. I'd better pen a letter to the powers that be, whoever they are.
Oops - ignore my last comment. I was a day premature. Just as well that I hadn't penned any letters.
