Nigel has said that when he and Alice get back to their caravan, they can't help but be drawn to the window to embrace the view, which they say continually changes throughout the day.
They've been witness to all manner of late November weather, having seen the sky change from bright blue, with and without clouds, into white and then to a very murky and to be honest, a quite depressing, dismal grey, amidst light drizzle and heavy rain.
They've seen distant lands across the bay, only for them to disappear a few minutes later under a cloud of evocative, sea faring mist.......
...... and they have looked out and sighed at some very beautiful and romantic sunsets through the nearby pine trees and across the bay
They've told us that at times, it's been quite emotional, as they've sat drinking it all in, while sipping their hot chocolate and dunking a cheeky malted milk biscuit or two, especially while watching said sunsets ......

Wonderful!
I hadn't thought of Malted Milk biscuits in years. My mouth is watering.
"Alice voicing... what it would be like to be by the sea at Christmas." Mrs. D and I live within driving distance of a warm sea, at Christmas. As it happens, we will be at the beach, for Christmas - in Cozumel.
Sounds & like everyone is having a great time. I remember one winter walking to tr beach after we had had snow and we walked from snow right into the sea. Very odd feeling and mist unusual for the snow to stick.

That's why one of my all time favourite poems is, I must go down to the sea again, to the lonely sea and the sky....John Masefield - my mantra in life. Mr D - oh boy Cozumel looks other worldly. JantheFan x
JtF - I haven't heard that poem in donkey's years.
P.S. Mrs. D uses the phrase "donkey's years," every now and again - most unusual, for a Mexican!
