I think the memory of the tiny house Alice and Nigel fell in love with in Conwy is still very much on the little fellas mind, as he came home this morning enthusing about the most beautiful stair carpet he had ever seen in his life .......
...... to wit a most wonderful, predominantly red, tartan confection .........
....... that even Darrell remarked would make quite a powerful, manly statement in the right setting, channelling a wild, but cosy, Monarch of the Glen type ambiance
If only, Nigel sighed, we had just a couple of stairs in our very flat flat because a considered purchase would certainly have been made. What is he like?
Please note the circles are not part of the pattern, they are window stickers that sort of interfered with our images, no matter what angel the pictures were taken!

The carpet certainly looks great. I don't suppose you can get it made in any tartan that you want. I have a tartan, in my surname, but I'm not aware of a Monkey tartan.
Oh my - you would to make sure that carpet was perfectly put down, bang in the middle on a stairs - could you imagine if pattern was off kilter it would drive you mad! (I think kilter is a good word for this reply!) JantheFan x
