Having now returned to normal life after his little sojourn with Alice to Welsh Wales, it's suddenly dawned on the little fella that Valentines Day is just around the corner!
Now, the ever fragrant Alice is a very special, much beloved friend to all of us ........
........ thoughts of romance and all that sort of stuff just doesn't and would never come into our familial equation .........
However, everything in the shops seems a little too obvious and the very last thing we would want is for Alice (not that she would) get the wrong idea of our purely honourable friendship .....
...... or become overwhelmed if presented with a whole plethora of heart shaped chocolates, lollipops, cuddly toys, mugs, candles and roses, both of the real and artificial type nature!
So, (unusually) Nigel has decided that we really should think "subtle, with simple, caring undertones"! He's got an idea and we're to leave it all up to him ....... saying that he's going for understated emotion but with impact! What on earth is he like?

"Subtle, with simple, caring undertones." This sounds like the sort of thing wine experts write, regarding a bottle of cheap plonk.
