Oh my goodness me, no one can adore the beautiful and gentle manatee more than young Eric ........
..... so finding that they are oft visitors to Dunedin marina, so much so that they have put up signs to warn boaters etc. to be careful around them, had the little fella in an free falling tail spin.
It would mean the absolute world to him to see one in proper, real life, but as of yet, it really hasn't been part of his and Alice's itinerary, as the weather, unbelievably, is becoming a lot cooler and said wonderous creatures are heading to warmer climes upstream (???) for the winter .......... but ever hopeful, Eric's not completely giving up all hope, "You never know ", according to Alice, he sighed wistfully "karma sometimes has the habit of working in mysterious ways to bite you on the bum, when you're least expecting it!" What on earth is he like?
