...... according to Derek and Eric Great Malvern railway station has to be the most romantic station they have ever arrived and departed from.
It is, they say, truly beautiful ........
They said they felt as if they had been captured in a spooky time and film warp, somewhere between The Railway Children, Harry Potter and Brief Encounter, with a splash of the Orient Express
What on earth are they like?

It made me think of Brief Encounter, and the music - Rachmaninov's second piano concerto..
Rachmaninov was a bit of a polymath - a composer, a conductor and one of the greatest pianists of all time. He had huge hands - from middle C to the G, over an octave and a half, higher. Here endeth today's lesson.
The link has a photo, from 1861, of a driver with a great nickname - "Hellfire Jack." I hope Derek and Eric don't decide to nick the name, or anything similar.
