It's Show Time!

When you see an intriguing sign stuck to the newel post at the bottom of the stairs ........ especially when it's gone a little too quiet for comfort from Bertie's room, while you've been busy preparing a light snackette after the school run, it might be best, Eric mused, to go upstairs to investigate......

...... especially when there's possible "promise" of a puppet show of a Sooty and Sweep persuasion .......

...... and well, it would be rude not too, wouldn't it?

Let's just say, that yes .......

...... there was indeed a puppet show awaiting, featuring the said characters and yes, it was emotional, very, very emotional .......although poor Eric couldn't help but wonder afterwards what Sue meant by "lathering his (Sweep's) undercarriage in cream"!  I think we'll just leave that one parked there, just in case questions need to be asked in Parliament! What are they like?

Great job, Master Bertie! I bet he was as least s good as Harry Corbett and his son, Matthew.
