Happy New Year - It's 2026 .......

It's 2026, woooooo hoooooo hoooooo with a whole, brand new year of adventure and every day life lying prostrate before of us and it doesn't get any more tangible or palpably exciting than that!

And ...... what betterer way to start off said New Year than with a brand new 2026 Calendar, sent to us for Christmas by our much beloved follower, Pharmacy Michelle in Southport or to be more precise, in beautiful and romantic village of Ainsdale, famous for, from the pictures for each month, being in almost constant bloomage.

It all looks very, very beautiful.

As of yet, we have no plans to visit Southport this year, although we do have a weekend already booked in Liverpool, which isn't that far away and the thought of veering off for a cheeky glimpse of Ainsdale is tempting.

That being said, who knows what exciting "events" we'll be filling all the days in with, during the ensuing twelve months, hopefully a little more than just when the window cleaner is due or when we've got to pay our utility bills.

So, thank you sooooooo much Pharmacy Michelle for spreading so much ponderment and opportunisity before us, trust us when we say we shall endeavour to fill it with much thought, planning and our usual effervescent and infectious (but not of an unhygienic type kind) gusto!

Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy New Year

While we are getting used to a brand new and exciting New Year, trying to get life back on a more even keel after a very busy few months or so, we've decided to revert back to just posting Monday to Friday and not at the weekend to give our behind the scenes people a bit of a rest, once they've caught their breath, be assured we'll bring the weekends back!

Happy New Year everyone, hopefully when you are visiting Liverpool you might venture to Ainsdale and we could meet up. We have a number of cafes, restaurants & wine bars. Or if the weather is good then there are beautiful public gardens where you can sit and enjoy a beverage.

Such a lovely calendar to brighten up any dank and dark days of 2026 - and a trip to Liverpool. Oh fabulous city, so much to see and do. I love Liverpool !
We went there to see the Terracotta Army exhibition and other wonderful things.
A very poignant place to go to is

Brings it all home and it deserves to be seen.
So whoever goes where - hope 2026 is a blast!
