Keeping Festive Spirits High With ........ Arnold!

Oh my goodness me, look who's decided to join us for festive season as the spirit of Christmas past, present and future, he just couldn't stay away .........

...... only Eric's beloved ghostie friend Arnold!

When he saw that Darrell and I were just about to sit down to embrace our very first festive treat of the season, to wit a cheeky, rather vivid, Iceland Christmas doughnut ......

........ it would have been rude of him not to erm, assist us, give his opinion and well, keep us company .......

...... and I have to admit, with Eric and the ever fragrant one still very much ensconced in sunny Florida, an extra guest to share our most favouritist month of the year would be more than welcome ........

...... especially one so aptly and seasonally attired!

As for the doughnuts, well at only £1.40 for 4, they were OK.  They certainly looked the part, but the icing was just strange, with a weird sort of texture and stars that if caught wrong, could quite possibly worry your molars, especially if filled, as they were a little on the tough side.

However, the season is yet young and this comestible disappointment was more than outweighed by Arnold's arrival, but now the next question worrying Darrell is whether he should go out and find Arnold a stocking to hang on our festive mantle, as it would look very remiss if one should be found missing on the BIG night, unless of course he's bought his own with him?  A subject to broach for another time perhaps, what are we like?

Yummy looking donuts, whether they tasted yummy is a different matter of course! Welcome Arnold - a fine looking festive spirit if ever I saw one. JantheFan x

The doughnuts certainly look great, although I'm not a fan of them, myself.

Arnold certainly has got into the festive spirit. He looks mighty fine, as they say in the US of A.
