Well, hot on the heels of Alice and my very illuminating Strawberry Daim review, it would be remiss not to give their Limited Edition orange flavour a quick whizz too ........
Now, we guess from the obvious festive packaging that this was a Christmas release and so we are rather late to the table ......
...... however, a quick check of the best before date on the back, told us we were within the limit, but only just, as Darrell so succinctly put it, they were almost, but not quite on the cusp!
Darrell liked the subtle orange aroma, which seemed more natural and un-cloying, than a lot of other orange flavoured comestibles.
The famous Swedish chocolate coating was as per usual, generous and the crunchy signature almond caramel centre as expected, still brown in colour rather than orange.
Though orange is not usually our number one flavour of choice with regards to our confectionary, we did like the bars, although, nothing really touches a good, old, original, unencumbered Daim for us to be honest.
So, a score of 9.5 members of an ABBA Tribute Band out of 10 on our world famous Richter Score of Noms. Would we buy them again, well yes, especially if they are still on sale (with a more generous best before date perhaps) this Christmas, because what is the festive season without an orange something or other. What are we like?

I'm not usually a fan of orange, either, although I am partial to Terry's Chocolate Orange, at Christmas.
I'd never heard of Daim bars, although I have heard "There Is Nothin' Like a Dame."
I think you’re all intrepid taste testers, saving our palates from unpleasant surprises. You deserve an award, I might contact my MP.
