Last night Nigel introduced Alice to the art of playing Bingo for the very first time.
.... Nigel, bless him, thought he'd best ease Alice in gently with a game of Beach Ball Bingo, with a single card and where the prize was a cuddly toy for the first line across, down or diagonally and then another one for a full house ......
...... however, he did treat her to a very "professional" looking, blue dabber by way of a good luck charm, which she was very touched by.
Although Alice, Nigel, Iris and Bertie put in a valiant effort, sadly none of them were any where near "sweating" or poised to yell "house" as each number was called, but Alice said it was all very exciting and she wouldn't mind having a go at a real game should the opportunity arise during their stay ........

Never mind, better luck, next time. Especially of next time has big prizes.
"Dabber" made me think of Sherbet Dip Dabs. Or, even better, Sherbet Fountains, with the licorice. I am partial to a bit of licorice, especially Pontefract Cakes.
Now, I have made MY OWN mouth water!
