Iris's Haunted Halloween Mansion - It's Emotional!

Oh my goodness, with us being on the very cusp of Halloween and our annual Halloween sleepover being all but a tantalising day away .......

...... to unquestionably get us all in the spirit .......

...... may we present to you, in a great flurry of unveiling ......

...... our beloved niece's incredible tribute to said season ......

..... in the guise of her very and most glorious haunted Halloween mansion.

It goes without saying that in the whirlwind of excitement and revealidge, it all got emotional, very, very, emotional.

Never has Halloween been so wonderfully envisioned and encapsulated using simple wooden crates (The Works, we believe), luminescent, green, dimensional paint and all manner of creepy things ......

It has to be said that the Halloween section of Temu has been so well and truly mulled over and pocket money plundered over these past few weeks

 ..... to produce this magnificent homage to the season of all Hallows! 

The detail and dedication to her "art"  ........ the girl "dun gud", the girl "dun" very "gud" indeed.

And yes, there were tears, a great many, if I'm honest .......

..... followed by a torrent of excited ooooooooo's and ahhhhhh's as every single, tiny adornment and artistic flourish was pointed out and then admired to gasps and sighs.

Even Arnold, Eric's spooky companion throughout October said that it was the house of his dreams, that would be an absolute honour to haunt.

It certainly is beginning to look and feel a lot like Halloween, what more can we say, as we recover except happy, happy days!
