Poor old Nigel, would you believe that after spotting more potential hedgehog art work on the sides of our bridge and continuing into town for a mooch round Evesham's finest charity emporiums, his senses were once again assailed by the finding of even more flipping hedgehogs .....
No considered purchase was made (thank goodness), as this pair were a little out of Nigel's budget and anyway, we have several cruet sets already, for best, everyday and spare!
Although, on checking his phone, as oft is his want when spotting something a little different, these would have been quite expensive, in real life, when new.
Nigel left them where they were, for someone else to stumble upon and take up as their own object of desire, however, he said he is now finally coming to terms that at almost three months into 2025, for him, it is undoubtedly and inevitably going to be the Year of the Hedgehog and so he'd better get used to it ....... it could even be great fun, I mean, who doesn't like to embrace a theme, even if, at first, it wasn't one of your own making, but a spooky chain of coincidences!!!

Well left, Nigel. (Sounds a bit like a political comment.)
The Chinese don't have a year of the hedgehog - maybe they don't have them in China. I'd never thought about it, but maybe we don't have any in Mexico, either.
As much as I love hedgehogs, I’d have left the cruet set too. Our hedgehogs don’t seem to have woken up from hibernation yet despite the recent warm days. Perhaps it’s still too chilly at night.

Oh I do like them - we have two hedgehogs running around the garden of an evening - last year we had four, so hoping for the other two to show up. Difficult times for hedgehogs these days. JantheFan x
