You may remember my incredulity after I asked a group of gentlemen what they were doing digging in our snowy garden back in December, to be told that they were planting bulbs .......
Our only worry now is that our company gardeners don't come on their large, industrial mower and run roughshod over them, as was their want when our beautiful, wild cowslips were in bloom a year or so back, they had no shame!

Superb. Let's hope Nigel doesn't decide to protect the daffodils, when the gardeners turn up. We wouldn't want an unfortunate incident. The suffragettes come to mind...
Will Nigel decide to be on sentry duty, at night? Will he be wandering lonely as a cloud? Or, with his penchant for deep thought, will he be pondering lonely as a cloud?
Oh please no heads off daffodils - it's a bit like how hedges are cut down in the nesting season. It should be a wildlife offence. JantheFan x
