We have a brand new café in town .......
..... and well, it would obviously look must rude of Eric not to avail himself of its pleasures!
Let's just say, it did not disappoint in any way, shape or form or department ........
...... from the perfectly put together decor .......
..... right up to the ceiling .......
....... to the wonderous array of freshly baked comestibles ......
..... and quaffables, including Eric's choice of an iced pistachio latte .......
...... complete with the everso current trend, real flower sprinkles!
It was a place, he exclaimed that made him feel sophisticated and all metropolitan cosmopolitan Neapolitan, but without the ice cream, where he could simply be himself if not a bit posher.
He says he's now going to use all the credit left on his Christmas Costa and #Cafe No.1 gift cards and then .............. he's going fiercely independent! What is he like, if not very pleasurably swayed in this instance!

Very posh. It looks great!
I've never had a latte in my life, let alone an iced pistachio one. Does one eat the petals?
Coincidentally, last night, I went to a recital with a world-class Mexican tenor. For his encore, he sang a metropolitan - no, cosmopolitan - no, Neapolitan song, known to Brits as "Just one Cornetto," which was all that went through my head, whenever he sang the line.
Mrs.D couldn't make it, but, next weekend, we are going to the opera.
