New Developments On The School Run

It would appear, that from the posters plastered all over what used to be Young Master Bertie's bathroom showroom of his dreams when he was tiny ........

..... that Tesco are planning to take over the long abandoned (since Lockdown) site .....

....... a very interesting development at the top end of the school run, as we have very fond memories of our village Tesco Express, back in the homeland .......

...... with its baskets of reduced bread at 10p a pop, and other fresh comestibles like salmon fillets, steak and whole chickens on the cusp of their sell by date.  Let's just say Darrell's freezer was never found wanting in those halcyon days!

Soooooooo, if all goes well, this will be a very obvious port of call for Eric on his way home, as we very much like a Tesco shop, but rarely use their online delivery service anymore because of the £50 basket minimum!

Oh, and there's more ......the irony, certainly didn't pass Eric at what one of the said plastered posters was covering .......... those flipping "friends" of Hedgehog get every blinking where!

Great news. I'm sure Darrell will know exactly when the reduced items go on sale, too. A shopping trolley (and sharp elbows?) will prove very useful for such eventualities. Will Nigel request a lift on top of the shopping trolley, if he is feeling weary?

Can I just say how much I appreciate the positive and genuine tone of this blog. I find it very charming and heartening. Please keep posting for as long as you can. My family also has a few monkey members :-)
