It's been a long, long while ..........

.......but our much beloved pheasant, or perhaps next generation pheasant has returned to The Towers lawn, proudly strutting his/her/she/he/we/them/their/its stuff once again, to our great pleasure.

Our lovely neighbours, on the top floor, who used to keep all the bird feeders well topped up throughout the year have now moved on to pastures new  .........

...... so I guess it's now up to us to take on that illustrious baton .......

........ even though there have been complaints in the past re: an increase in the volume of bird song (thus becoming too loud) due to said feeding, among one, two or three other avian related comestible issues when, I believe tempers, erm..... may have flared slightly!  Hey ho, it's a hard knock life, but not hopefully for our rebounded pheasant ..........

Lovely visitor, i think it’s a male due to the bright colours. Females aren’t so “bold “. We have a lot of pheasants around here despite us being so close to the beach. We’re not far from agricultural areas too.
