Post Office Scandal

We are still totally obsessed watching the live stream of The Post Office Inquiry and if we can't actually watch it live, we watch it later in the evening when we are all together.

It's truly horrific .......... with so many people in very high positions within the Post Office who just cant "recall" important e-mails, meetings, conversations etc. they were privy to.  Let's just say, it's been a good few years since we left The Girls School, but if someone asked us, we're pretty sure we'd be able to remember most of the things we were party to, like when a coach we had used to get to an exhibition, went off to do another job and then failed to pick our group up on time and "our lovely girls" were left stranded for a couple of hours, it's like it was yesterday.

We still love Jason Beer KC, even though we didn't get a reply to our fan mail, perhaps it was a just little too frivolous, considering the weight and seriousness of the inquiry, however he continues to hold us in thrall. Trust us, if we were ever questioned by Mr Beer, for whatever reason, we'd certainly remember everything in triplicate, 3D and colour!

So, last night we were all at The Regal Cinema for Post Office Scandal, The Inside Story presented by Nick Wallis.

OMG, we were spellbound, for all the wrong reasons, those poor, poor postmasters and what they have been through and continue to go through, of which one lovely lady was also on stage, telling her truly awful story of the Post Office's prosecutions, continual cover up, lies and denials!

We have a feeling that The Post Office will never hold up their hands and come clean, but we are sure our beloved Lord Wyn Williams will come to a very clear conclusion at the end of the Inquiry and then heads that should roll, will roll. 

And then, Sir Wyn should be made a Lord or Baron Knight, if not higher and Mr Beer, our interrogating hero, a Sir or even a Duke, at the very, very least! 

........ meanwhile we continue to be totally and absolutely gripped and at the end of our seats by the audacity .......... !!!!
